No. The Convention fee will apply once in this circumstance.
How can I make a reservation through the call center?
To avoid any confusion, the best method to make your reservation is through the booking link found on the Hotel page of the convention website.
What is included in the registration fee?
Everything you will need while you are onsite during our convention dates: food, drinks, attendance at all convention-related events, welcome party, vendor showcase, family game night, closing bash, swag gifts, etc.
How can I change my arrival or departure date reservation at AVA Cancun All-Inclusive Resort?

How many days before my arrival do I have to cancel my reservation without penalty?
The hotel cancellation policy outlined below is set by the hotel, and FCI is unable to make any changes. Exceptions, if any, are at the discretion of the hotel.
31 days prior to arrival – No penalty will be charged
30 days prior – A penalty to the entire stay will be charged
How can I make a reservation for our group’s pre nights? Our room block is from January 4th-January January 12th. There are limited rooms available before and after the conference. If you plan to extend your stay, please book your room ASAP as rooms are on a first come first served basis.

What are the entry requirements?
All guests must be in possession of a valid government issued Passport to present upon airline check-in, to pass through TSA security, and to enter Mexico. For non-US residents or citizens please check your country embassy for entry and Covid requirements to re-enter the US from Mexico. It is your sole responsibility to obtain all necessary documents for travel within the United States and to Mexico. If you do require a visa, contact your local Consulate for assistance. Please obtain or renew your passports early. Your passport must not expire before 6 months after your last day in Mexico, in our case July 11, 2025. If your passport expires before 7/11/2025 we recommend you renew it immediately. If your Consulate indicates that you will require a visa letter of invitation, contact FCI for assistance. Please note that FCI will not be providing reimbursement for passport fees nor visa fees.
What are covid requirements to come back to the US and Canada?

When I reserve my hotel room should I use proper spelling for all information?
Yes, match your passport! If you use the wrong case or put in the wrong spelling of your name, address, or anything else, then everything will be incorrect subsequently. For example: If your name is McGregor then use a capitol “G” when you book your room. Your name on your airline ticket must match your name in your passport EXACTLY.
What information will be listed on my badge?
Your badge will display your first and last name, your branch name, and your participant type. The information on your badge will reflect exactly as you entered it on your convention registration form. Please ensure that all details are accurate, including spelling.
What will the weather be like during our trip?
Temperatures in early January average low-80’s during the day and low-70’s during the evening. You can expect warm, sunny days with plenty of sunshine ideally. Sunrise will be about 7:30 am and sunset at 6:30 pm.
Is the water safe to drink?
You will have bottled water in your room that is safe for drinking.
What is the official language?
Spanish, but English is widely spoken.
What time is it in Cancun?
Cancun is on Central Standard Time. CST is 1 hour behind Eastern Daylight Time, 1 hour ahead of Mountain Standard Time and 2 hours ahead of Pacific west coast time. When it is 8:00 a.m. in Cancun it is 7:00 a.m. in Denver, 9:00 a.m. in New York, and 6:00 a.m. in Los Angeles.
